En un impactante caso judicial, el Juzgado de Garant\u00eda de Los \u00c1ngeles decret\u00f3 prisi\u00f3n preventiva para Luis Mario Rojas Guill\u00e9n, acusado de atropellar y causar la muerte del gerente de operaciones de CMPC en Los \u00c1ngeles mientras conduc\u00eda en estado de ebriedad. Seg\u00fan la fiscal Paola Ot\u00e1rola, Rojas Guill\u00e9n, acompa\u00f1ado de tres personas, hab\u00eda consumido alcohol toda la noche antes del accidente. Tras atropellar a Alejandro Nova Camarena, el conductor intent\u00f3 huir, pero fue interceptado por Carabineros, quienes notaron da\u00f1os significativos en el veh\u00edculo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El ciclista sufri\u00f3 fracturas de cr\u00e1neo, columna y lesiones fatales, falleciendo en el lugar. Las pruebas toxicol\u00f3gicas al imputado revelaron 1,03 gramos de alcohol por litro de sangre, y se constat\u00f3 que no portaba identificaci\u00f3n ni licencia de conducir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El tribunal consider\u00f3 que su libertad representa un peligro para la seguridad p\u00fablica, fijando en cuatro meses el plazo para investigar.
